Seniors
  • Welcome to the Class of 2020 info page

grad capsClass of 2020 - We know this is not what you expected for your Senior year. We are here for you. We are working each day to find ways to celebrate you and all you have accomplished.

  • Please note that information is being updated as quickly as possible. Many decisions are still being made and this continues to be a dynamic and evolving situation.
  •
  • Graduation Regalia Pick Up
  • Pick up took place on April 23rd. If you did not pick up your regalia on the 23rd you will be contacted to schedule an appointment to pick up from the front office.

Credits and Courses
a.  If your student was on track to graduate prior to the closure, please make sure you are keeping up with your current classes. As long as you are in constant communication with your teachers and completing assignments you will not have to worry about your graduation being affected as a result of the school closure.

b.  If your student was not on track to graduate (or if you are unsure), please reach out to your student's counselor (information below). It is imperative that you are in the know of exactly what your student needs to do in order to be able to graduate. If your student is enrolled in credit retrieval (i.e. Edgenuity) they should be working on those courses every day until they are complete. Tests have been unlocked so that students can continue to progress as necessary. If you have any questions about your student’s progress, please contact the following individuals:
 - If your student is in the 3rd period Credit Retrieval Class please contact Mr. Swanson (SwansoEP@puyallup.k12.wa.us)
 - If your student is not in the 3rd period class, but has been assigned Credit Retrieval classes please contact Ms. Buxton (buxtorl@puyallup.k12.wa.us)

College Admissions
Your best source of information is the admissions office for the college or university that you plan on attending.

In terms of Washington Colleges, here is the latest joint communication that has come out:

April 9th (Considerations for Fall 2020)

March 30th (Point of contact for all Four-Year College and Universities in Washington)

Seniors – will you need an official transcript sent to your college or university at the end of this school year? If so, please complete the information on this form by Friday, June 19th: https://bit.ly/3bFr14I

Financial Aid
1. FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid): It is not too late to submit your FAFSA form. If you have any questions about the FAFSA or need help filling it out, this would be a great time to reach out to your counselor via the new online booking system.

2. The Washington State Achievement Council has developed a financial aid chatbot (Otter) designed to help seniors navigate financial aid. Learn more about it HERE.
